Greetings:

May I Tact-fully suggest a TinyTach or other brand of tachometer?

Re Gear Ratio:
Put an index mark on the clutch bell, then note the position of the valve stem on the rear tire. Carefully count the spins at the clutch bell to make the valve stem go through a complete rotation. If the gears are too short, you won't be able to improve top speed by swapping rollers in the variator. It goes to max and then it's all about the final drive.

300F. for a max temp is no worries, but I'm surprised at the small size of the Main you're using to get there. If you see it climb closer to 350 during sustained high-RPM operation, beware, particularly since you have BBK power and probably low gearing. High piston speeds can overwhelm cooling and lubrication.

Checked my final drive, just over 12 so im guessing its the 12.115:1 whats the easiest option for gears?

Greetings:

US versions of the AF05 had 11.097:1, so if you're sure it's over 12, the standard solutions may not work. Furthermore, the end result may be a different ratio from the US norm.

These include rare Malossi 67-6458 primaries that yield 7.83:1 on US engines. There were also the 10:1s found in the '87 Elite S, again a Primary swap. Suggest you count teeth and recalculate to 16/32 for Malossi and 13/34 for Elite. Addingn a big rear tire might be enough for 10:1s to work on your BBK.

the af24 is a dio motor so look for dio gears.your gear count is the same as the US version af16e. take the gear cover off your af24 and if there are 2 bearings on that cover than you can use your af05e gears. if there is only 1 bearing then get the rear bearing set for dio or primaries.if you have calipers measure the axle gear shaft diameter where it goes into the gear cover.
Nothing like getting stroked!

Hi!
I'm new here! I'm just bought a Tact today,
I think it's the "AF16", but I'm not sure.
How could I improve the speed of my scoot'?
It has a lot of power, and a great speed-up to
45 km/h, but not more... :/
I think this could go faster (according to the power of the engine), but
it stops there.
Is there any chance to de-restrict, or boost the speed?
// I have to go to the city with this almost daily, and it's about 25km
far from here...quite much with 40km/h travelling speed...//

Thanks a lot!! :hi:
