Dude! You always find the sweet deals! Even if you have to go to Japan. I wanna go to Japan...

I was up around 3am last night, and spotted this on Craigslist. The seller had posted it at 10:30pm so I made sure to call him first thing around 9am this morning to arrange a viewing. Believe me, the deals have been eluding me for quite time and it was only persistence (like checking day and night) that led to this.

Elite 50, Aero 50, Aero 80, Aero 125, and Sprees are usually plentiful in the Dallas Craigslist listings. By the time I get to calling, somebody local to the Dallas Ft. Worth area has already beaten me to the punch. Austin usually has some beatup Honda Passports or Trails, but not much of the bikes listed above. We do however have a lot of listings for the crappy Elite 80.

I'm leaning towards installing a 63cc Burial cylinder kit or the Polini Corsa. I'm not sure yet.

im guessing you are going to go JDM on this bike too? full tact body work would be killer.

I'm not a fan of the Elite SR50 or Tact bodywork, and so the body panels are staying since nothing else really fits the chassis.

The plan is to mainly use this as a rolling test chassis. The engine in this bike is eventually going to make it's way into a Spree chassis with Eve body panels. With that said, at some point I might part out the scooter panels and other pieces.

This is what I'm ultimately working towards, and it may involve pulling the drivetrain from the purple bike.

It will look like the white bike, but the motor will have a functioning rear shock and it won't be quite so slammed since I want to take this into the hills. Also, I'll do a chamber pipe, but without the straight stinger setup.

I'm torn. I really like the look of them, but still like the charcoal colored Dio wheels.
