Double Down, Ver. 1.1 new video

Post by KingJeff801 »

So originally I was going to sell my black 2001 Elite S and keep my 97 purple SR, I sold my PG long and some other things and right before I was about to list it........I came to my senses and thought what the * am I thinking  . These bikes are extremely hard to find in Utah and it has been my goal since I was 16 to build a badass bike! SO IT'S ON!!!!! for the last month I have been purchasing parts from forums members and on the internet and am still waiting on some parts to get here. this is my set up

72cc Polini Corsa
24mm OKO carb with CT mani
Uni filter
SEF black pipe
Keli pulley 42 grams,
Daytona #2 ramp plate
new bando belt
Michellin S1 90/90
Klotz R50 oil
VDO temp gauge
8:44.1 secondary gears

I will post pics as I am building and would love some constructive input on weights , jets and anything else that may help.

Today it came to life..... the best part is right now it is pouring rain that didn't stop me from taking a quick ride down the street even though I could barely see. Pure MAGIC

Greetings:

Good parts choices!

Jet the 24 with 48/120 to berak in. It'll be rich to start depending on air temps.

I have the ZX trans, running the 1000 Contra and 35 grams, but different Vario too.

Greetings:

In cooler weather, B8HIX. (With extry Irie-de-Yum!) I have some 9s for Deepinnaharta summer heat, but not sure it's necessary. Dark they grow through lower burnoff temps.

best thing to do with the wrap is soak it in water then wrap it, when it's dry you won't get the most out of the wrap and it won't be wrapped as tight as when it's wet..

the mount for the GM pipe should be straight forward all the extra holes is just to make it look good just line it up to the block and and one nut to the pipe..

NP the wrap is to save your shroud from melting, it sits close to the shroud ..
