Re: Japanese Jog (Tomorrow)
Heck yah. The 3KJ jog. Lots of parts for that scoot
d*** Tru you always get the cleanest scooter. d*** you. lol
As far as customs go the rules are
Any scooter over 25 years old is exempt to DOT
Any scooter is automatically exempt to EPA if under 50cc.
Some of the early jogs can be imported with no problems at all.
I would love to find a yamaha passola(sa50).

Re: Japanese "Fine Selection" Jog
Pretty sure this case has not been opened in over a decade!
Currently cleaning up the old parts while I debate on ordering new parts.
I know for sure that I will be ordering at least new reeds.
Here are some "before" pics.
Covered in dust from the plastic cover that was sealed on top of the case.
Bell looks like it was rubbing.
Cracked open the crank case and all that dust/sand exploded onto the tire.
Carb bowl was filled with a nasty film of some plastic-type substance. It is currently soaking in carb cleaner.
Grease is half an inch to an inch thick covering most of the case. I have two degreasers, and naval jelly to clean up the whole engine!
19mm sockets are a killer! But I think I have a tool that will help me hold the clutch in place (a belt-grip wrench).
