New Build: 2001 SA50 AF16 72cc,Malossi,Polini Ect..

Started out as a POS looking 2001 Honda Elite SA50, most plastics missing or completely busted up..

I've been slowly gathering up parts here and there. Had to do some Major plastic repair to the panels I had and a few I had to buy..

I stripped it down to frame, Powder Coated frame & Swing arm. Stock front wheel Powdercoated Gloss Black with New Tube & Tire. Met rear wheel Powdercoated Gloss Black with new 90/90 Tire.
Installed New Ebay Seat cover.
Modified Zx50 Speedo

I think i have the Tune pretty close.

Still running stock 2001 12:1 gear set
Stock Muffler that I ceramic coated and drill two extra small holes to get it to flow better.
No Port work done.

Polini 24mm Carb
Plug looks alittle fat still
Jetting : 105/45. Only jets I have on hand that small. More jets here this week..

Last night got in one Top speed Run.
Gps verified 50.4 mph just ran out of gear. Can't wait to swap in the 9:1 Set.

Ultimate goal is 60-65 mph. With Gears and better Pipe I think I can get there..

Pretty sure you'll see 60 easy with the 9.1s and jetting. Pipe will just be a bonus! Great looking ride

you need to do the gear install, big time. Its night and day. I have a B-moon pipe that might tickle your fancy. The big bore kit is almost a wash without gears. If you didn't hit 65mph with the gears and pipe, I'd be suprised.
