Yeah it should be a good ripper, the truth about swapping to bigger engines is the ratios are still the same so the top speed doesn't change much but it does increase acceleration greatly. A stock nh125 is a little bit of a slug off the line until I start modding it. I have a couple ideas on modding the nh125 driveface but for now I just need to do maintenance on it.Meatball wrote:Been hoping to see some updates on this build! Gonna be a rippin scoot for sure. The nh125 had a curb weight of 196lbs and was able to run 55-60mph. I can only imagine what it does in a featherlight Spree frame. Anyone want to make some guesses on top speed?
It might be done by then but if the ride lands on a crappy weather day I'll probably just skip it. They should start a summer or fall scoot ride, early spring weather here sucks. I guess I'm just a fair weather rider, I took it for a spin around the neighborhood today and froze my asss off.Rip_City_Spree wrote:think it will make it out to spring scoot?
