some of those guys are hitting 114mph. their bikes look like super stretch drag bikes with these custom keisler looking frames. i remember back in the mid 90's when we could drag our scooters in hawaii, the guys hitting 13sec passes where trapping at over 105mph.

So the 12 isn't a 72 cc time. I thought that was wicked quick.

it is with a 70cc kit but using NOS

ah. fun times... when the racetrack was still open.
I didn't have a scoot back then, but had visited with a friend and their 'vw bugs'. whooop! =)

You guys are saying that it is possible to run 12 second 1/4mi times on the dio? I need more stimulus. Pictures of said bikes please.

its possible. the fastest so far is mid to high 13's with NOS and trap speed over 100mph

you mean you just let it run for a few hours or did you accually do the cycles of heating it up then turn it off to cool down? if you didnt do at least 5-7 heat cycles ,the chances are that your going to get ring rattle if you skimp on the heat cycles.

I heated it up to like 100, cooled down, 140, cooled down. and so forth until around 300..
