Uhh, whut's a HG Spacer?
Really not having any issues with overheat (Knock Wood) and the power is sweet right through the midrange, just not as much top end as I was expecting.

What pipe are you using? You need to add that headgasket

King-its a malossi cast so rpm is lower and less topend. Vs a mhr or corsa which has higher rpm peak power. The malossi cast and the polini contessa are in the same class, sport cylinders. Mhr and corsa are race cylinders

Recorded 52 MPH without really trying coming home.
Inspection of the vario marks indicated I'm using nearly all the Polini Ruckus drive face, and max RPM was 8650 and climbing. Will add 1.5 grams and retest.

Mid-50s top speed as it is. Plenty of low-end power for take-offs; Power to spare in fact. It felt like I was spinning right on through this torquey engine's best power. 7.5 gears and 8500 rpm still needed longer "legs". The added 2 grams helped, but the gearing can be made taller with the simple swap of the 654 belt that'll pull closer to center out back when it reaches the rims in front. We'll see if this theory bears direct testing manana. Fuel mileage seems a Ton better than Corsa.

The take-off with the 654 belt isn't quite as snappy as with the 669, but close enough that I don't miss it. However top speed didn't improve much, if any. Methinks that's all the power there is in the MArn cylinder. It should improve further with a leaner Main, but I'm pretty sure 60MPH is out of reach. At 55 it won't be long before Flash and I are a greasy smudge on the pavement of Deepinnaharta Freeway. Might have to go MHR after all... If ONLY there were SOMEone with a wealth of self-taught MHR experience here to light the Way.

Latest swap of pipe to V8 on the M'Arn running AvGas at 174 compression.

Still runs better when it's cold out. Might have to drop a Main size.

I don't understand why you would run a V8 pipe on that thing. Why are all the scooter builders scared of non Taiwanese expansion chamber exhausts ? Beautiful bike btw.

Greetings:

I picked up the V8 for an attractive price from another forum member. It's quiet with good torque . Haven't tested on the Deepinnaharta freeway yet. If MLM wants to make 1AF16 pipes in addition to the upcoming Spree items, I'm all ears, er... eyes. I doubt he'd sell for $100, though.

So you reccomend a pipe that doesnt exist.. That v8 is actually a good match for the cast malossi.. That red scoot looks really nice wheelman..plastics look like they are all together in great shape..

Theres nothing wrong with yms v8. Its a good pipe for a decent price. Not everyone has 300+ to spend on a pipe.
