Back on the scooter, only the bottom will show once the side plastic is on.

Tyler - how do I contact the fella you traded the Elite 80 body parts to? I need the front cover and knob which connects to the side covers.

I'm sorry, I don't think he ships.

I removed the carb from my spare ch80 and cleaned it up. I also installed bigger slow and main jets I got from Jetsrus.com

Runs a lot better and I got the top speed back after it was reduced because of the exhaust pipe and air filter. :thumbwink:

Now I'm going to focus on getting everything painted.

Spent some time doing paint work, lots of sanding/prepping. Took these pics just prior to spraying.

How large did you end up going with the jets? Also do you know what the stock pilot jet size is? Thanks!

Here's where I got the jets:
http://www.jetsrus.com/a_jet_kit_scoote ... _elite.htm

TYPICAL JET SIZE:
Main Jet - 88*
Slow Jet - 40*

I went up to a 45 slow jet and got 90,92,95 main jets to try.

I had the front shield nearly done painted and it fell from my crappy hanger line. All sorts of marks/scratches in my fresh wet paint. :x

So I'm going to have to sand it back down and repaint.

About to spray the side panels, there were a lot of scratches hiding under those stickers.

On the floorboard I decided not paint the textured area because it would most likely rub off. But I did clean the area using a couple methods before I masked it off.
