Hey Taz,

Just as V-dub stated, its a 2004 Zuma motor. This is the long case Minarelli style engine that comes on the Zuma's 2002 and up.

As for the mounting of the motor to the Ruckus frame, there are a few options. I went with a frame that already had mounts welded on. The other option, which is a bit more expensive, are the bolt on engine mounts. Those are around the $500 range. If you were to DIY weld-on mounts, that would cut the cost dramatically

The other portion of the install would be the wiring. Originally the Zuma had a vacuum operated fuel pump, but I have read that with Zumakus(Zuma+Ruckus) swaps there is sometimes fuel cutting out at high RPM's. I'm running a Stage6 HPC crank that ups the RPM to 16,000 max, so I opted to run the stock Ruckus electric fuel pump to ensure constant fuel delivery througout the full RPM range.

Stopped by the shop last night and was pleasantly surprised to see the Ruckus coming together nicely!

The exhaust needed to be reheated and bent to fit onto the motor. It was originally for the European AeroX. EGT gauge sensor was installed as well and the wiring was good enough to start her up. All I have to say is DAYM this motor sounds like a beast!

Looks like it'll be ready within the next week or so.
