They are wrong, they are 18 X 14 ans stock is 16 grams. I measured the dimensions and weighted a set of mine to confirm that.

I figured you were correct. I found some sliders on Ebay that match and will be ordering them tonight. They only go to 15gr, so we will see.

Any clutch springs out there besides the stock one from Honda?

I know they only go up to 15 grams. I have 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15. Honda has the 16 gram ones.

As to springs, I don't know, never looked.

Changed out the cheap * Wally World oil and put in shiny new GN2. Had to resist the temptation of tearing the whole thing down and cleaning it, I hate a dirty scooter.

Since I had an hour and a half to kill before I was able to get back in my apartment, I rode up to Applebees and enjoyed a plate of Nachos and a couple of root beers.

She's running pretty good, can't wait for my new belt.

I see you moving right along with your project, I just bought my 83 Aero 80 on the 9th. and have changed the Batt and oil to the Honda gn2 also new spark plug and cleaned it up. Had to clean out the carb because it didnt run when I bought it. The float needle was cloggedso I cleared it and I ordered the 90 jet. I haven't dug into the Belt, rollers or varitor yet I'm still prettty new at this. I will keep following your posts lol Hopefully I can learn some more.

Good Luck to ya..

Okay Sure!! IÔÇÖm pretty sure all the lights are missing in the front, I got it form the Original owner and was garage kept, with 2700 miles. It was a great deal, couldnÔÇÖt pass it up! this is my first scoot, only 7 days old! but I'm a fast learner!

The dash lights are on whenever the engine is running, just like the headlight.

The rear turn signals are easy compared to the front ones. But in any case they are all NLA.

Would these work in the front?

I actually have a set of those and they will fit and bolt up to the holes but they are slightly smaller than the stock ones.

Well, took her to work today, ran great, until about 2 miles from home she just up and quits. Pushed her uphill for about a half mile then tried to start, started fine but then just rolled off like I'm out of gas. I have gas and oil, carb is connected good. Going to tear the carb apart and clean, change the fuel filter and plug. But that's tomorrow, I think I live at the top of a big long hill.

Tore it apart today. Found the carb to manifold o-ring deteriorated, about a 1/4" of the ring was melted like. Carb had some dirt in it, I will change the fuel filter this week. Waiting on new parts so I left it stripped down, when I get my new belt and main 90 jet I will put her back together with a new plug and 15g sliders I picked up. Can't find my compression tester, maybe Mouse will show up one day with it to check out my compression.

That's all for now. Most of my 80 is in my trunk, weird.
