read through the entire thing..... kinda freaked me out lol. is there another swap thread that i'm missing on this sight? everyone keeps saying it's an easy swap but that seemed a lil more involved than originally depicted. still wonna do it, just wonna stream line it and remove room for my error.

the noise mostly comes from the carb. if you can get an airbox on that carb, it will quiet down the engine noise alot. if you want to run thge stock exhaust on the corsa, it will be ok. just dont expect high rpm's out of the setup but the torque will be great. you will be down about 2k rpm as the stock pipe will limit it to around 8500 which is still good.

Um, yeah.... this build takes the difficult method more oft than the simple. The af16 motor mount can be modified to fit the spree frame without the whole "let's hack apart an elete frame" method. It's so much simpler that many of us recoiled in horror at the different "method" employed on this build. Somebody find this dude the link he wants, I'm at work and have stuff to do!

that would be swell!!!!! thanks

something that i cant seem to find (maybe in the link). do you have to relocate the shock mount? i've heard both. someone said an offest shock would work but no one has told which one. the ruckus shock was mentioned and i can experiment with that since i have one, but there has to be another option.

The shock mount needs moved back a bit.
I know there's got to be a more detailed thread than mine, but here it is ... viewtopic.php?f=16&t=18402 My thread is not the most detailed, though

I'll try to find a better link when I'm not at work...

New settings, it was bogging and losing power right around 30-35

40, 103
Clip 1 up from middle
B9HS plug

Although now there is another problem. When its cooling down at a stop light it'll drop from around 290 to 260. Then when i try to take off again it will bog and lose power. I have to rev it a couple times before it will want to take off again. Whats the deal with that?

I put the 42 back in, but haven't gotten the chance to see if it fixes the problem. I was scared off by the cylinder heads temps reading over 330F at around 35 :surprise:

Going to try the 105 main and see what happens

I like the temps better with the 105, although very mild signs of bogging and loss of power happen around 1/2 throttle once again. Back to the 103

I dont like the temps with it, so im gonna bump the pilot up to a 45 to see if that'll cool it off a bit more

If your having problems with partial throttle then try adjusting the needle setting before messing with the jet.
