Greetings:

I'm guessing that's about as mean-looking as a Spree can get. The red one, I mean...

Are you pumping the fuel to the carb? Dio underfloor pump?

Actually just pumping fuel to the stock gas tank when needed. Trying to figure out a better way though. The fuel pump I have on it right now will most likely put way too much pressure on the carb. Open to suggestions though. I really like the option of being able to take it off and keep using the gravity feed from the stock tank.

What kind of tail lights are you using? I assuming their a tail light blinker combo? I wanted to do a similar (totally copy/steal your idea) conversion.

That is one nice build. I like the rear panels. In fact I love the look of the rear panels. Gooood job.

I bet that thing is hella fun to drive.

Super fun to ride.

The tail light is an LED combo that comes with the license plate mount and such off ebay. Built a bracket so it attaches under the seat where the rear rack used to attach.

Decided its about time for an update on this scoot.

Been riding it like crazy whenever I can... startin to get a bit on the cool side now.

Got about 450 miles on the corsa. For the initial buildup I used two malossi head gaskets and it kept it right under 100psi. I decided to do a lil experiment and see what it would be at with only a single head gasket. Brought it to right about 120psi. Still in a safe range in my opinion and man does it make some more torque. The front will pick right up off the ground when I want it to even with 8.4's. If I keep my auxillary gas tank full its a bit more difficult with the extra weight up there.

Have my tranny tuned now so it cruizes right at the point where the expansion chamber starts to kick in, about 7200rpm. What would you guys say is a safe max rpm for the corsa? I've gotten it to 10k but never pushed it farther than that.

Anyone have an opinion on whether it is worth it or not to get my plastics professionally painted? I was happy with how the paint job I did on my mom's spree came out, but I am more concerned about mine. In order to get the leg shield on it has to be pulled apart to fit around my center tube I added. I feel as though this is flexibility that a rattle can job just won't be able to handle.

Any recommendations?
