Piddling with the Eve today trying to tune the carb in more. Here lately once the engine gets warm the muffler sounds like it is still getting too much gas with the throttle closed like a deep wah wah wah till i put on the break to lower the rpm past a certain point. So i figured the pilot was too big and my main was too small which would account for it needing the bigger pilot to run smooth. I switched the main to 118 and it seemed to bog and sputter near 3/4th to full so I changed the pilot to 42 and put the 107 main in with the clip up one from the middle. Now she idles good at screw around 1 to 1-1/4th and the muffler sound seems different and it doesnt make as deep a sound at closed throttle when i slow down. Wont really know till I take it for a longer run. if the GPS says i go faster than 49.5 then the main being too small and hte pilot a tad large was one of my small problems :D I also think i need to up my weights, it seems like the belt is rising too fast to stay within the powerband since I still have the stock contra. may put the stock weights back in and see how my performance is because all i have are 7 6 and 5g sets

Still working on fine tuning the carb and trans :D I swapped in the stock rollers into the prodigy vari and the 107 was still rich, only 43 mph on he gps. dropped down to 103 with clip one up and it idles fine and accelerates good. the engine sounded like it was within its band with the heavier weights since i still have the stock spring. I tried the 1500 spring and it just had to rev too high for my liking to engage, heck my 65cc kit only gets about 6800 rpms would take around 1/4th of my power just to get rolling :P about to go to the gas station and see how she runs hopefully i will top 50 working on 55 :D previous max gps reading is 49.5 with 45 pilot and 95 main clip in the middle. also trying to iron out the louder than normal closed throttle slow down sound from the exhaust if I cant eliminate it i may take it off and give it a lye bath while i work on the xr80 maybe it is getting a little obstructed and back pressure is causing the abnormal? noise

47.2 mph, approximately 4mph gain from 107 to 103 main. I definately like the throttle response with the stock rollers (9.1g) it sounds like it shifts nicely through the power band. A lot smoother than the 7g did it was like starting off in 2nd gear. Also my Wah Wah Wah closed throttle sound has almost evened out as well which is awesome :D imma drop it down to 100 and see where that puts me, based on the gain from 107 to 103 i should reach at least 50 on the gps :D hopefully i wont have to up my pilot because i think it is rich, would be nice if i could get it down to a 40 or smaller so i can save gas, I want at least 50 miles to the tank. Anyone have a 40 pilot they would sell me? :D

welp....I was wrong lol I lost 1.9 mph down jetting to 100 but thats kewl will use less gas. I am just going to settle for 45mph give or take (45.3mph 4+5+3=12 1+2=3 4+2=6 6+1=7 7+3=10 1+0=1 a strong number 1 with 3 sounds auspicious to me :D) I saw a chart somewhere that shows 6800rpm with 9.1:1 is 45mph so I should probably get 8.44s if I expect to beat 50 and still maintain a reliable engine. As it stands it sounds good, transitions smooth, and temps are great. 1 denotes a beginning and three is the union of air, fuel, and spark :D I would be a bit worried if it added up to 9 or 0 but 1+3=4 so I have a ways to go before it blows up :P

it is called numerology :D any thing can be reduced to a number equivalent, then added together to reduce it to one of the base numbers 1-9 or certain 2 digit numbers that have special significance. each number has a meaning that can help one to achieve some sort of understanding about the situation that was previously unknown :D

for example 2+5+1+9= 8
8. Negative Traits: Workaholic, overly ambitious, lacking humanitarian instincts, mismanaging money, repressing subordinates, impatient with people, stressed, materialistic.

Guess who this is??? hahahha

hahha no there is no subtraction only addition.

9+5+1+9+5+9=38 3+8 = 11 you can choose to further add this number to get 2 but 11 happens to be one of those special cosmic numbers

2 Positive Traits: Cooperation, adaptability, considerate of others, sensitive to the needs of others, partnering, an arbiter or mediator, modest, sincere, spiritually influenced, a diplomat.

2 Negative Traits: Shyness, timidity, fear, self-consciousness, drown in detail, depression.

11 See number 2. Spirituality is emphasized more, but in essence, the 2 traits, positive and negative apply.

there is more to it than that but that was something i could cut and paste hahahh

I have another af16 block coming in the mail to rebuild and tinker with over the winter. Not sure if I want to port the case or not. I am thinking intead of buying another stock or 65cc kit just buy a contessa for my Eve and take the 43mm tai bore and put it on my other block since it is almost bare. Which kit doesnt require moding the boost port? the contessa or the corsa? My goal is to hit 55-60, 50-55 cruise and 60 wot. May try to order the 8.44s to put on the Eve and see how many mphs I gain with my current setup then when i get the scratch get the contessa. I think the 8.44s would be the tallest I could go around here and still walk up the hills. All I will need is a bore kit and exhaust since I have everything else in order even have the contra and clutch springs and rollers but its just an idea right now.

I took some pics of the Eve with the headset swapped on the "new" slagg paved road to my house which was until today gravel :D No more dust, maybe I can wax this baby to a shine without worrying about it getting dirty so quick now :D Now all I really need is a kickstand and this build will be finished ...for now :D gathering up parts for my new winter build, plan on a total overhaul of a bare af16 block :D

hhaha I like the idea of a front basket even though the one i have on thee has been jacked up :D someone bent it all up on the c70. I need that basket to put my cig tobacco in and any other goods I pick up when I am scootin. With the bigger carb I dont trust the small tank of gas to get me there and back so i always carry oil and a jerry can in the back. This build is utilitarian as much as anything. I want my ride to look good but I also need it to haul stuffffs :P I have my tools, sidestand, jets, thermometer, cellphone and soda in the glovebox with a little room for something else :D
