I put the side plastics on from my nh125 spree with a cutout around the carb. I have another set of plastics I'm planning on modding to fit around the carb.

Blasted the rust and old paint off my spare set of rims. I'm going to primer them now, then mount my new tires.

Got the front fender fitted, should work out good.

I'm at the point with this project where I would like to wrap it up soon, so finishing the fitting of body plastics is my current goal. Once that's done I'm going to strip everything down and do some paint work.

Looking good! IMO with a black frame that thing would look great half naked like that!

Thanks! I've been planning the color scheme, it will be all black with some gold accents/parts. 8)

Here's the side plastics I'm going to use and end up painting. Someone put all these sweet stickers on that I'm going to peel off. :x

I bubbled out the plastic around the carb, might need a little filler work to smooth it out.

Greetings:

Heat gun, right? I experimented with some scrap Aero plastic to determine if it was feasible. Glad to see someone made it work. Can you show a bigger-picture shot of the outcome?

Yeah I just used a heat gun and took my time, no other pics right now.

To shape the bubble in the plastic out I used a screw driver handle thats rounded and smooth on the end. You don't want to use anything with sharpe edges. It was a process of heating it up, getting the shape I want then cooling for 10mins while holding the shape. It took about 5-6 rounds of that, stretching the plastic out a little at a time.

Thanks, Once I smooth it out with some filler and sanding it should look great.

I have this turn signal rack that someone cut off the pipe that hold the signal. I always wanted to fix it, making the signals not stick out as far.
