I remember when my bike looked like that too :cry: I haven't kept mine in as good condition as you

I didn't want to cut the wire harness yet.plus everybody uses a headset and not the streetfighter look so I went the streetfighter look.plus all my other bikes have headsets.I'm going to use that headset on my other bike when I get around to building it.

wow its amazing what some one can do with a scooter =D i cant wait to finish mine up.

I worked on it when I had time during the winter.from the time I striped it down to putting it all back just to ride it was about 2 months.but it can be done in a week if you have all the parts ready to go.I had to remold the inner panel because the triple and fork leg would hit the panel so I had to heat gun the panel and push it out to make clearance.that was the only hard part because I wanted the ineer panel to look like it was still stock so I took my time heating and molding so no holes or deformed shapes formed.

hey, i had to do the same thing when i put the dio forks on my elite e, if you go slow it doesnt look bad at all, i cant even tell anymore! i heated it and used a bowl to keep a smooth round shape.
i want that pink elite e! hahaa

The only triple that doesn't touch on the 87 elite 50 is the honda g dash triple.
