nah front disc swap , flashy but of no use, way to heavy..
most all drag strips have so much run off youll slow down easy with that spree front end

That skinny tire on the Spree front end will make it hard to keep control at those high speeds. I know, just use a wider tire right? Well not too sure how wider you can go in between the gap on the stock Spree forks. Just a thought...

This is gonna be sweet Yan!! Can't wait to see it when it's finished!
On the other hand... That paint job on that elite is amazing. what kind of paint is it, and why with the longer motor mount? Just wondering.

Brad good call, that was my first concern and what I talked to tru72 about. He has had success with the 2.5 tire at speeds of 80mph so I will stick to it for now, OR maybe go with something just a lil bigger depending on what tires we have in stock at our shop

thanks toboggan
and to answer for tru the longer mount helps keep the front end down more when drag racing

wel just hit me up on messenger yan
the fastest i have clocked with my bike is 84, but thats during testing, not at the track. You must think of the whole balancing act to keep it stable. That motor mount is like my 3rd one. the first 2 were just too short for my seating positioning.
heres what i have been doing this week for the next race

i know it's not needed for THIS project, but i am also very curious as to what existing disk parts are used in the adaption to the spree. my tiny drum brakes give me the heebie-jeebies in panic stop situations. i want to try to do the conversion this winter, but would like to not just jump in blindly...

I've been putting alot of thought into the swap and I really dont think it'll be that hard. It'll involve cutting the stem off of the stock Spree forks and reusing it on a triple tree or Dio forks. Probably wont be able to reuse the Spree fender but I remember seeing one swap that used what I beleive was a monkey fender. The headset should be reusable as long as you keep the stock handlebars. Just a thought those ruckus guy do the Dio front setup and I beleive they have carbon fenders available.
BTW Spreetard did the engine shroud get to you ok?
