Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Heres my first build:
89 Honda Elite E frame with 03 Tank GY6 50cc motor and the front fork of the Tank scoot.
heres some pictures of what it looks like so far:







Where the belly pan went on that will be removed.





Shock tower

The motor is mounted with the Tank Mount welded on to where the Elite motor was mounted to

top of the mount

under the mount

Bike pigs for foot rests

Where is the gas tank going to go now that the shock is in the way

thats what i was going to do but couldn't sell that motor to buy one lol

theres gonna be a tub going from the back to the front that well hold it buy the fork.
the tube is also going to hold speedo and tack and the key, probably a push button start (:
i was thinking a rectangular tube.
still need an idea for a tank. start thinking boys!

since you weld make yourself a gas tank to fit in the stock place. why is the stem so long and high?

yah thats what i was thinking.
thats not the stem thats gonna go on there im going to straight bar it.

the stem is the threaded rod thats connected to the triple clamp that holds the fork legs. that thing is long and high. why didn't you shorten it up a little? the stem usually is level with the seat height or are you making the bars like a extended chopper style where the bars are sky high?

well the fork would work then
lowering done on the frame would just make it higher off the ground.

I was thinking that too. But then I rememberd there is no seat or seat bucket on this bike yet.

If you try to imagine it with the bigg * elite e seat on it, the bars don't seem so high.
