Re: Ruckus Horizontal Minarelli Build
I am trying to find gears for my friends 1996 yamaha jog. Where did you find parts for the yamaha? I can not find gears any where.
What gears do you have, and what is your top speed, and @ what rpm?
Thanx in advance.

Thanks man!!!odinxxix wrote:man bradthree that is one sic ride, the color is just awesome as well. is that a stock color or did you paint it, if you did what color and paint did you use?
That color is Lambo Orange, I bought it from Sanjuro and he got it painted professionally. Told me what he paid too, which was alot!
There are a couple of places that have gears and I believe the horizontal and vertical motors share the same ones.Trafficjamz wrote:I am trying to find gears for my friends 1996 yamaha jog. Where did you find parts for the yamaha? I can not find gears any where.

I'm running stock gears on mine, and I dont have a speedo gauge so I can say for sure. I do have an RPM gauge, and the highest I saw it go was around 13,800 RPM. Im also running a 12" rim/tire in the back so I'm guessing I was around 60mph? Not too sure about that one

Re: Ruckus Horizontal Minarelli Build
Sweet looking!
I'm glad you kept the Ruckus headlight assembly, it's what makes a Ruck a Ruck, IMHO.

Re: Ruckus Horizontal Minarelli Build
I love the headlights, like you said its what made want the ruck in the first place. If I can find them, Id like the JDM counterpart which is smaller. Id also like to lower the bracket that holds them as well.zuphilius wrote:Sweet looking!

For now ill just enjoy the ride, but Im sure in the near future Ill get the itch again
