intake manifold has 2 bolts, then engine info is AF05E- 1414638, is this a DIO engine? the pipe is came from DIO motor i think...Bear45-70 wrote:The body work looks like a Spree, but the exhaust isn't from a Spree. Is the intake manifold 2 or 4 bolt onto the crankcase and the kick starter is backwards for a Spree. I suspect a Spree with a transplanted motor. What are the numbers on the transmission cover?
thanks sir!, can i call this... a "mixed spree" ? heheburnt_toast wrote:a very nicely done spree cutdown, very very nice
No, it is not a DIO. The DIO has a 4 bolt intake. The Spree has an AF05E but so are the SB50 (Elite E) and the NB50 (Aero 50) engines. However the Elite E also has a forward facing kick start like the Spree. The Aero 50 motors does have the rear facing kicker but only the 1985 did not have a kick start. Of course the kicker from an 1983 or 1984 Aero 50 could have been swapped on to the motor.gjcura wrote:intake manifold has 2 bolts, then engine info is AF05E- 1414638, is this a DIO engine? the pipe is came from DIO motor i think...Bear45-70 wrote:The body work looks like a Spree, but the exhaust isn't from a Spree. with an afo5e variated engine and custom air filter
handlebars from a bicycle
Aftermarket Exhaust from a dio chopped and welded to a afo5e head pipe
Recovered seat from a razz?
Brembo hand grips and a custom side stand.
Very nice mash up

i used red CCFL as my park light, i dont have brake light sir. i will upload the updated pictures later having park light and head light as well.PolarIce wrote:I like the cut down look but what are you doing for tail lights? That might work in Michigan but here you have to have running lights and that includes a headlight (on when moving) and a tail (also on when moving) and brake light. The turn signals are iffy.Trafficjamz wrote:PolarIce wrote:I like the cut down look but what are you doing for tail lights?
