I sold a 2005 Metropolitan last week for $275.00 but it needed a CCU
The buyer was a good guy and we talked scooters for a while ,well he called me last night and said a Spree just went on craigslist for $150.00 OBO
OK I call the seller and say I will be right down to look at it . Off I go by the time I got there he had gotten a bunch of calls on it so the OBO went out the window .
It was in OK shape not great but was complete .
Bang do the deal ...
Get it home figure I will work on it today . Drain the gas ,put some Mystic oil in then new gas , put in a new battery .
Turn the key reer reer rrreeer wing wing wing wing wing wing .
I have done this so many times and it still amazes me ,Man Honda builds good engines ....
Oh yea the previous owner painted it yellow ... Check it out ...

Mike thats a great idea ,I went to the paint store and they were all out of pink . So I just grabbed some Yellow , I guess I was feeling mellow . Then I thought TAXI Scooter .

OK repainted the yellow ./ Got some checker decals / made better mounts for trunk / changed out turn signals / painted rear rim black / did mods on rear rack /re-painted muffler /

Good call on the rear turns.....the originals are ugly, they stick out too far, clean look now......checker tape is way cool....not only does it fit the taxi theme, but it looks faster......where did you buy the tape?

Thanks Mike ... Well I am getting closer and it even runs ... I did some mock-ups on photo shop ...probably just go w/ TAXI as it seems cost effective .
OH I got the checker decals at a place called Hobby People I think it is for radio controlled airplanes I had to cut it in strips and will probably cover them in clear vinyl as I am not sure how well they are sticking ? And your right I think I am getting 1/6 MPH faster with the decals .
