I have always loved the CT90, my junk yard man was going to sell me 2 for 225 as is but I never got hte money up between this af16 swap so i think he sold them already. the only thing I dont like is the position of the exhaust. I imagine that is why they dont sell those kind of exhaust setups anymore, too many burnt pant legs. good find especially with the side covers and center piece, the center piece is usually always missing :D you need to do a search and find the front brush guard they made for these it would look awesome its all chrome, dont think they offered that part in the US may have to source it in Japan

.....@odin29.....that pipe is ICONIC, man.... .....plus it has all the guards....granted, they will get hot enough you can feel the radiance, but the design keeps temps in check....no INSTANT flesh Bar-B-Q .....NOW if you wanna see a pipe that will getcha, check bradthree's proposed buy (CT-Lifan)....sweet pipe, though.... ........@ marty....chrome appears magnificent !!....you may agree that this pipe is beautiful,....and gives the CT a personality that has become synonomous with "OFF ROAD".....what with many members doing white bikes, I wonder how white would look on CT 90 ?....my fav factory CT color is Mars Orange...Resto/Mod ??.....rock-on....... :urban:

I did a little work to the CT today. I replaced the battery. Cleaned the points and got spark.

Replaced both tired old cracked tires

Recovered the old seat.

Installed the brand new carburetor.

Just waiting on the new tank to come in the mail. I discovered that the brake shoes have unglued themselves while changing the tires. I need to get those on order too.

Hopefully, the tank will be here this week and I can hear her run. I have never heard it run yet.

I plan to get it in working order then strip and paint the entire bike. It will likely have to wait until spring. I haven't decided on a color yet 8)

Nah, just waiting for the tank to show up. :nervous: Don't plan on the trail thing too much mostly a road rider. Might do some off road this winter though. 8)

I joined this forum to get tips and tricks http://hondatrailcts.yuku.com

All I can say is that it does not even compare to hondaspree.net

Tons of valuable information on this site and lots of good people. It sometimes takes days before I get a response to a post asking for help.
