I actually screwed a bolt into mirror mount for the camera and used one of the bolts for the floor board for the second video. So I guess that explains why it's so shaky.

I'm going on a field trip this weekend to a fellow spree enthusiast for some parts, he says he owns 20 sprees and a bunch of other elites and aeros too. I'll try to get some pics of his collection, but I need to get permission first.

I told him about this website the first time I met him, he never heard of it before. He says people don't like his prices because he wants close to retail, but I think he sells some stuff on ebay occasionally. I told him about the free manuals on here and he was interested. But his computer is old and has dial-up internet, So I burned them on a CD for him and he's going to give me a price break.

I'm back from getting parts, most all of the guy's scooters were in garages and under tarps so I couldn't get pics of those. But he had a few out so I snapped a couple pics. I asked how many scooters he owns, he said about 160 and most I saw were Honda. He showed me some scooters I never even knew about before. I saw my first gyro and sat on it too, it was the early style. Please do not contact me about parts, he prefers to sell complete scooters.

I polished my drive face cover, will probably end up redoing it at some point.

I'm planning on stripping the spree down to the frame to do some work. I'd like to add some foot pegs and a frame support crossbar. Do a little more re-enforcement and motor mount work.

Nice weather is around the corner so I decided to do some improvements on the spree.

I re-worked the motor mount a bit and replaced the rubber bushings. The original bushings got melted from the heat of welding so for awhile I had a solid mount using some urethane. I put in a order for brand new bushings but I guess they're discontinued. Luckily I had a stock spree mount I sacrificed for the bushings. It's a more comfortable ride now, less vibration.

Cut out the bushings.

I finally got a new drive belt, my old belt was so worn down with cracks between each tooth. It definitely helped with my top speed, plus I no longer have to live in fear that it's going to break when I'm far from home.

First I tried to order it from powersportsplus.com but it came back discontinued. Then I tried cheapcycleparts.com but they also said it wasn't available. So I bought the new belt that popped up on ebay last week, they were asking $62 and I made a offer of $45.

I recently replaced the front wheel bearings, now I'm replacing the rear support arm bearing and dust seals.

I also bought a cheap $14 belt off ebay, dimensions 788x18x30. But I haven't bothered to try it, since I got the stock belt, dimensions 794x18x30.

I did consider trying a belt for a ch125/ch150, dimensions 799x19x28. Bando makes a reasonably priced one too.

Noticed a crack in the exhaust when doing the bearing job, I'll have to get that welded. A cracked bracket could of been causing extra stress on the pipe, so I have to repair that too.

Actually the CH125 belt is the same belt the Aero 125 is. 23100-KJ9-003

Yeah, that's what it says in the catalog. But if you search ebay for "ch125 belt" all the listings say dimensions 799x19x28, same as ch150. I know there's more than one model of ch125, there's ch125 A, ch125 AC.
