Ive had so much problems with my 130cc it is unbelievable!
Two weeks straight I tore it apart and put it back together just to find out what was wrong.
Turns out it was the heat wrap on the pipe? Causing loss of power on take off
Its a whole different monster now

Im interested in your theory on the heat wrap??
I have ran it on many vehicles... cars, bikes, scooters etc with out ever causing a tuning issue.
In fact just put it on the Honda mini dragger for the race this weekend and made some test passes Sunday with no issues.
What do you think its doing to your scooter to make it loose power on take off?

It was not the heat wrap. It ended up being a bent flywheel key.

Now that sounds like a better reason... couldnt get my head around the header wrap explanation.
Glad you guys got it figured out!

What is the 1/8th mile record on a 70cc setup?
They dont race the 1/8 mile

One of the fastest times I have heard is from my friend Marc Grauer who help start the maxiscoot magazine. In 2006 did 7.44@78.4 in 150 meters (164,05 yards) on a 70cc set up..;)
That doesn't look dangerous at all. Head facing the ground, no leathers on. :woot:
