this has got my attention, i have thought of this and doing it a "naked" build. but decided not to do it. i just wanted to ride. it will be interesting to see this build. but just a question. a mountain fork? are you gonna have a front brake?

Looks like a rear wheel off an Urban Express.. that would be a 14 inch rim.. or is it something smaller yet? Is there room for the tire between the rim and crankcase?

most of dios here in our country specialyl the ones used in drag or street use are naked or skeleton as we call it here...

yup the rim is 14...i'll be using a 45x 90 tire...may be some shaving will be done to the case to fit the tire..

and yes i'll be using a front mountain bike shock for the project...i'm still thinking of whether i'll do a front brake on it...

the rim is universal coz it can be used in different makes of scoots and motorcycle...

i'll try to post a pic of a dio with wire rim also fitted...

Why build it when you can buy it, cpi-gtr has 19 in rims = 90mph with a 19mm carb+bore kit- 115mph with a 24mm carb= Flip it
