What do you do to the engine after you sand blast it? Do you coat it with anything or what? I'm wanting to sand blast my af16 to clean it up but dont know the best way to go about it.

you have the option to put on a high temp sealant(brush on) or just leave it as is in the pic(i personally leave it). bead blasting does open up the pores in the casting a bit more so in the long run may attract dirt and grime a little more.

Gotta ask....about how much did it cost you to do it and where did you get your AF16 engine?

Is it a direct bolt in to the Spree frame or did you have to modify the engine mount?

i dont sandblast the block . i clean with rim cleaner..or acs cleaner.
