so i have been posting in technical help figured i would start a build tread ..im starting with a 84?spree that i paid 40 for seemed to be in good shape all ther ect....exspet for the transmission case was broken lol. After searching here and cl i found a good afo5p that was turned to a e .It seems to be fresh almost new .well heres some pics ill get some more up in the morning should be riding it tomorrow if i can find the right size nut for the rear wheel and the bolts for the pipe

check you jets for the new filter.... and what size is that filter?

ok went out today and put the motor in agian and hooked it all up if some one can hook me up with a pic or good diagram in how the fuel lines are hooked up ...thxs again jerry

its the same as the spree was ..

hmm maybe my oil pump is bad i hooked it up like that and it was not moving any oil hmmm maybe just run premix

it dont move munch oil so the first tank shooed be a pre mix at 32 to 1 that means 2 oz of oil per tank in the spree ...

it pumps very little oil at idle. it wont shoot out like a garden hose

so this is how is hooked up same as my spree i think the oil pump isnt working still no oil looks like premix is gona haft to happen\

yes its right..
what is the jet on the carb ??? you may be running lean because of the air filter you are using you need about a 90 jet ...
was it that way when you got it if so what color is the plug ??? it shoiod be the color of a candy bar....

It looks like you have it hooked up correctly. With no oil in the feed line you are probably correct that premix is the way to go for now. I am sure you could post in the for sale/wanted section and find a replacement oil pump on the cheap!

one thing i see you may need to look at is how far the swing arm move you may hit the tire on the fram of the spree ????
