i thought i would start a thread with easy upgrades that im going to do on the spree that will hopefully let me cruise at 35 and max around 40.

1. Im going to get a milled 1985 head The '84 and '85 have the small chamber which is desirable over the '86 and '87 big chamber head.

2. step two is im going to get a new power 4 ports reeds and intake and and 21mm pkw carb

THis normaly wouldnt be possible to add on the spree but with a friend named bear anything is possible

3. im going to get tazs gears

eventualy i might upgrade to the bbk but i just bough this cylinder and i want to put a few miles on her before i get a bbk.

THIS should be interesting ill post pics when i get all the parts and everything while im building

when squezz a turd (spree motor) for all you can get out of it...... a taller tire is going to help and with the bbk you will have the tork so it will help i no a 10/3 tire will fit and thats a small gain but its a gain..

That looks like a intake setup for a horizontal minerelli motor, but no matter what its actually for it WILL NOT fit your motor.

The only intake kit for the spree motor is sold by a member on these forums named tazzland001 (sp?), and again I'm pretty sure the one in your pic isn't it.

This is the first time I've seen that type of manifold adapted to the spree, should be interesting.

Just curious, was tazz out of stock or did you want to try something new?

okay all the parts have been ordered im going with the taz 21mm PWK setup with intake instead of the one above but they are essentialy the same pieces. I am also going with taz gears, and head should be here today. Taz has told me no one he know of has tried doing this particular setup before so should be interesting to get her tuned in and see what happens. I will start with a 88 main jet which should work but if not work up from there.

No no no you dont start low on jet and work up you start high and work down or you risk damage to the bore

like i said start at 95 and work down

Taz the guy that sells theses kits says an 88 works. You are not listening very well.

he also says no one has done this setup befor so a 88 main is just a guess

are you bear saying starting at 88 and working up is the correct way to tune jets if so you are contradicting your own words

thats all i have to say to you TROLL reply all you want
