85 Aero restoration (slowly but surely)

Post by naveen93 »

Alright I am a college student who loves anything that runs off of gasoline, with that being said I have recently purchased a 1985 Honda Aero with a title for the wonderful price of 75 bucks! (non-running of coarse). It is not in terrible shape for what it is, last time it ran was a few years back.
Pics of it as she lay:

Naturally I started tearing her down and this is what I found:
Without plastics - Image
Engine without over - Image
Seized up back brake - Image

In a days time I tore off the air filter as well and took off the carb, going to clean it out as soon as I can.
I will post photos as I go!

Also any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
