He had a bunch of rims, I paid $10 each. If you were local I would forward you his Craigslist ad, that's how I found him. But I don't think he ships, sorry.

I'm planning on stripping the rims and painting them, I'm getting a idea on a color scheme now..

I still have the issue of side plastic not fitting because the header pipe comes out too far before it bends down.

That's a good thought, I'm planning on doing that on the other side to clear the carb.

I decided to mod the pipe because it just sticks out too far, it's a good thing too because I found a surprise under the heat shield. Uploading pics now...

I cut off the heat shield and found a crack right at the bend, a exhaust leak.

So that looked like a good place to cut apart.

Put the pipe back on the engine, cut out a section and bent the pipe to bring them together.

Once it's welded I'll slide the pipe over for additional support.

Now the header pipe doesn't stick out as far so the body can fit.

I'm planning to paint the exhaust pipe and maybe some heat wrapping too.

Hello Tyler Looking good I am very curious about your pipe it almost looks like it came off a china scooter .
Where did you get your pipe from ? How is it performing / is it loud I am also having rubbing problems with my side plastic rubbing against the side of my muffler .

I bought the pipe off eBay, it has the smallest inlet diameter I could find, 1 Inch. The exit side of the pipe is threaded inside with a plug I could remove or perhaps restrict more if it's too loud. The pipe did drop my top speed down a couple mph but improved my acceleration and take off. After I put on my air filter I figure I'm going to need larger jets anyway.

Cleaned the grease out of the variator. Trying a 9g/10g roller combo. I'll experiment with some lighter rollers later.
