New toy with a cool seat

Post by donut »

'86 Spree (I think she's all there...) even the petcock cover!
but need to figure out the bolts, washers, screws, and clip to buy for plastic installation...
and a carb... former owner said the scoot was running sluggish so attempted a carb clean but during installation tightened the throttle screw too tight and it broke off...
then tried to remove the remaining screw part with a dremel... bit was obviously too big...now it's stuck ...

feel free to pm me if ya have a carb!

hmm, will an '87 carb work...

Baddassed seat bro. That makes up for the gacked carb. I bet that you can salvage the carb be pending if the po hacked the slide as well. If you can get the dremel bit out with out breaking it off, you might be able to drill and tap and put in a new screw that fits. Maybe a helicoil. I love those challenges, Ive had to fix weird crap like that when I was full time repairing school band instruments. Kids always find wacky ways to mess those things up, and the Dad always tried to fix it and made it worse and blame it on the kid ;-)

Just found out a local scoot mechanic has another biz the produces cutsom stickers and vinyl (vehicle wraps, etc)
thought a black web in vinyl on the front plastics or just the front fender might be cool...

I made another post seeking a carb and have a couple responses, locally I may have an '87 spree carb available...
is the compatible on this '86?
I think it is, but just want to make sure.
Thanks!
