well i paid 425 for it. put only 30 miles on it then the belt broke. was told the last owner put a new one on. well the nut on the crank striped the crank threads and i decided to put a gy6 50 i had laying around in it. scooter right now only goes 30mph. just order a rev limit delete and a new dlh dlh variator. ill post pic up later.

I've got a gy6 engine sitting. I would love to see the mods required to get that engine on a spree!

old red was build for racing, doesnt flex anymore, engine flex the frame and shes good to go now.

little update. found out that the free gy6 50cc i got had a 80cc bbk on it. but it only went around 30mph. after the first year i tried a brand new carb same jet. and boom! it runs like it should. manged to hit 46.7mph on gps last sunday. ill take some pictures of what it looks like tomorrow.

haven't been on here in a while. installed a huge list of parts. big valve head, big cam, new rings, and have yet to install upgears and i plan on raising the compression to run on e85. but i did hit 60mph going down a hill. i would say the scooter hits 50mph or so on flat ground very quickly. no gps times yet.

What're you going to run the smog pump off of? The ground, tire, or attempt a pto conversion.

driving off the crank ill be driving it. bench testing shows that it does compress air. no efi setup yet. i can get it to work with this carb and a few check valves. going out of town this weekend. more work will start monday!! also when i get the bugs worked out ill make a really detailed write up.
