Fallout's new Zuma project!!
I just recently bought an 05 Zuma which has become my new project! Just took all the plastics off today. Gonna get them bad boys painted. Flat black. I have a 70cc Malossi kit for it, a 17.5mm carb, and an Athena pipe(for now). This is how it sits as of today

Welcome!all updates and questions I have will be posted here from now on. I just hope graphite and swimminfree come around here so they can answer my questions
Please review posting guidelines for Builds. Q/A for what should I buy before a build, where/why do I want a part, how do I tune, are correctly posted in Performance Technical and Technical help.

Re: Fallout's new Zuma project!!
Sweet! I just did some "case porting" if you will. I also cleaned up the piston cuz for some reason the piston cut out for the fuel inlet wasn't matched to the case. The piston is about 3 thousandths too big for the cylinder(even though that's what the shop said would fit) so I'm gonna hone that out soon too. I wish I could post some pics but there's really nothing noticeable. I'm thinking matte black or candy blue paint for it. I need some opinions on which would look cooler. Blue would definitely stand out but black would do the exact opposite. You don't really see black mopeds too often.evilone wrote:I'm not like them...i like them!evilone wrote:I'm like them and am interested in your progress/updatesFallout Spree wrote:See no one likes em!!

Re: Fallout's new Zuma project!!
bah... go with blue! black is so... black. :p
I like them Yamaha's too. Zuma's a cool model and solid base to start a cool project.
I had my share of Yamaha's that I've ridden: Razz, Jog, RZ350.
Looking forward to seeing more details and photos as you continue your build.
