hi forum. the spreedio runs good, but I am still tuning it.
Had to make a leak down tester. used a air pump with gauge, tire valve, and a 3/4 pvc pipe plug. also made a cover for the exhaust. some steel and rubber (old tube). works good to check for leaks. You must NOT pump more than 6psi. you may blow out your seals. :nervous:

P.S. found a small leak on the CT manifold fuel pump nipple.

Looks like my 3/4 home depot tester. Nice work! I would assume the comp tester is bad if your engine runs. I go for .6 squish, it may be a reason for your lower comp too but thats real low.

Also I use copper spray in a can rather than rtv on base gaskets. You can use flange gasket maker but I just prefer copper spray. It does effectively raise your ports tho either way.

Hi LoveMyHonda. nice tester. copper spray good idea. I think my compression tester may be bad. because motor starts and runs good with power. working on jets. for the squish test it may be the ruima crank I installed? everything is still new may have to run it a little. but it's been cold out. thanks on the info.

Thanks graphite. I found out after the test. hope this helps someone.

Hi forum. to fix the leak I used paul's advice. on a flat table I used 320 grit, and finished with 600 grit sand paper. you can use RTV silicone, but I like to check my reeds often. :coolcruise:

hi forum. I reposted some of the photos of motor work.
I had to take them down because people were going into my photobucket and viewing my family photos.
No one ever mentioned anything. Thanks  :bs:

I use Glass and a piece of sand paper because a table or other "flat surfaces" can have high and low spots but glass will not. All the cts need this done. Also use copper coat spray on those gaskets to help seal any more left over imperfections.

China, Taiwan, and r.o.c. are basically the same. Quality wise that is.
