Doing some repair work on the body plastics. This aero was laid down at some point before I purchased it, lots of cracks and a couple of screw mounts busted off on the shield. Just used some jb weld putty along the cracks on the backside of the panels, it works. 8)

Thanks! I want to go to spring scoot but I don't think I'm going to make out, looks like rain tomorrow morning but it could clear up in the afternoon and I'll regret not going.

I went for a quick cruise today with sun out and 55 degrees but still froze my * off while I was doing over 50mph. Good news is that I can hear my stereo while going that fast which some of my coworkers thought I wouldn't be able to hear it while riding.

Your speakers are nice & high, and at a good angle. When the speakers are lower or aimed down they can be hard to hear. Mine are in my glove box and I don't hear em too well when I'm moving.

I bought another parts aero 125 for $100, it's pretty hacked up and has a funny exhaust. I messed around with it enough to hear it fire up 2 seconds, had to jump the ignition switch and put power straight from the battery to the starter. I all ready pulled the engine off, it will be a spare or maybe for another swap someday.

There was white decals on the sides of the floorboard, peeled it all off and painted it. Not my best work but had trouble with the paint sticking so next time I'll have to do something different.

I started to work on a intake manifold adapter plate to run a dio ct intake and larger carb. Got the holes drilled and countersink on the adapter, need to tap threads and angle the port hole.

the cts are notorious for air leaks. unless its the big ct intake. make sure you get those surfaces nice and flat. I had one and after figuring out it was my intake I took it apart and found that every possible place it could leak it did. ended up honda bonding the snot out of it till I got a better intake.
on a side note looking forward to checking this beast and riding sometime.

On my CT manifold I used sandpaper and a glass surface. Came out well. I would get a Reed block from a kx65 also- some people have had problems with the CT manifolds Reed cage breaking.

I had to sand the mounting flange on the ct manifold I bought last year, I plan on doing the same on this new one. Also planning on sanding the reed cage flanges on this one, I didn't do that on my last manifold and I suspect it leaked between there even with grey silicone.

Here's a pic of my last intake, stuck a flashlight down the manifold to see light through the gap.

Yup, sand every mounting surface flat. It definitely needs it.

Here's my big carb and manifold setup. I decided to go with a 28mm oko, someone else online claimed 70 mph with this setup on their nh125.
