Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

This is my first day on the forum. I need an air box cover for my 1988 Honda Elite. If I can’t find one for sale I need to borrow one so that I can have the tech teacher at my local hogh school make a 3D cope I can use on my scooter. Thanks for helping.

Yea there are different models in 1988 and the air boxes are different. There’s the elite e/es which is an SB50 and then there’s the elite lx which is an SA50.

Edit: also there’s the 80cc CH80 elite which was made for several years and I’m not familiar with specifics on that because it’s a 4 stroke motor.

Back to the 50cc models..... The serial number will indicate which is which by the frame code which is the 4th 5th 6th 7th digits
Either AF17 (SB50) or AF16 (SA50). Tell us which one it is.

i have a stock airbox for a 1999 elite that you could probably have cheap if you determine that its the one you need.
