my *real* projects.... 4-stroke Honda minis....

Post by z50r-ghost »

for your viewing pleasure, a few pictures of my full time obsessions. All parts are from Takegawa, GCraft, Kitaco, Daytona, CF Posh, etc.
These pics were shot for a Japanese Monkey Tuning magazine a couple years ago.

All mechanical work, sourcing parts, custom fab work has been done by me. :o

White bike: 1996 Z50R converted to JDM Spec Honda Monkey BAJA.
Engine & mods: 106cc Takegawa SuperHead stroker / 7 disc wet-disc clutch / 5 speed close ratio transmission / Yoshimura stainless Cyclone / 28mm Keihin FCR DownDraft carb / 42mm inverted KYB RaceTech valved front end / Daytona tubeless 10mm wheels / Takegawa steering damper unit / GCraft Triple clamps / Takegawa cam-driven Tachometer / Nissin calipers / free floating rotors... and on and on and on... Bike's top speed 90 mph.

Black Bike: 2005 Japanese-imported XR100 Motard
Engine Mods: 124cc Takegawa SuperHead stroker / Takegawa Dry-Clutch conversion / NSR wheels / Yoshimura Ti - Cyclone exhaust / Takegawa oil cooler / LinkInc custom designed Graphics... and on and on and on.... Top speed ???

Not scooters, but Honda-Monkey / mini projects none the less.
Let me know what you guys think.

later, jon

Wow, hot chicks on hot bikes!

Did they ever make bikes like that in the usa? Didn't you say u had to import them?

I was at an american leman race at elkhart lake and all the pit bikes were these. They were all decked out with fancy paintjobs, but never could find out what they were.........like cub 90s or something?

I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
