That 114 kit is gonna scream buddy! Not the best for long uninterrupted rides. I bought it for some mild drag racing. But, I personally came to realize I like going 65mph on my current ride.

Did you get your Taida stuff yet? Whats the quality of thier cranks? Are they as good as others? Does phongeer have the best reputation for these cranks?

Did u start on your 114 motor yet bro? I'm just about done with mine, just need to mount the radiator and hoses. The 50mm crank is not going to work unless u shave the bore to correct the distance.

Best of luck and will be watching but want to point out that you are going to have to be up around 25-30hp to get to 100. Old stock Ninja 250s have about that and go a little over 100, old RD 350s too.

You will likely have a smaller frontal area which will be a big help but its gonna be tough. Its a big jump from 90 to 100 with a tiny motor:)

50mm pg cranks are good because it's a full circle crank. Most 52.6 cranks are half counterweighted cranks all metal or have plastic inserts

Don't leave your ct manifold left like that. You see the area of the paint starting to peel off? These black manifold should be cleaned up with a double cut blade drug across it at minimal.

How much do you weigh scooter swap guy? What's the difference in diameter of the ruckus pulley compared to a Kelly. I'd personally run a zx trans with multiple trans settings

are u going to port the bore later? That head gasket leaked on me 7 times already so I stripped all that paper backing off and used high temp silicone. Lmk how yours go buddy

Yea you need to strip off all the black on the head gasket that's the only way to get it to seal good

It sounds like a common problem, surprised they never fixed it. I've never had issues with the coated head gaskets on other lc bores but maybe the taida uses low quality gaskets. I would take their advice if it's a known issue and fix it before it breaks.

So far the 114 taida I built for my inlaw can hit 75mph on a short burst as soon as she's done with the break in period, I'll be holding it at WOT and post up...these taida kits are awesome

from experience a 125cc you would want 33mm carb anything less is going to flaten out on the top end and if you plan on using a pg long you would want to try and keep compression around 120-140 and remove the ring. if you decide on running a big stroker pipe then you can keep it around 150-155 for clutch setups use a heavy clutch with polini blues and 20% center use a sef or daytona 2 ramp pg longs runs best at 51grams big stroker pipes likes to run around 45grams you might want to run 6.8 gears to help take stress off the driveline
