Kymco zx50 is the only one I feel safe doing 65+ really. Even at 60+ it's hairy. Check out my kymcoforums account: lovemykymco.

just riding and buying parts

if you have a NCY caliper
ebc pads will fit the top smaller holes are not used
NCY 1000-1314 Brake pads
EBC SFA193HH
EBC FA193
just getting the parts together for front end swap
5339 miles on odometer

That's some good part matching! I'm going to buy a spare set as well, I'm thinking I need to order another front end set up from g9.

did 3 runs yesterday
changed to red contra spring
because
( the yellows last about 300 to 500 miles and than drop about 1000 rpm at crusing speed
and takes the bike out of the power band)
1 =73.3
2=82.4 didn't take pic
3=85.2
all in the 10900 rpm to 11200
the 80+ were about a hour or so apart on the same road
the bike runs totally different with the red spring
and the drum brakes are useless
need to get moving on the disc brake swap

93 Octane fuel , (R+M)/2.
8.5 gears
24mm Polini pwk carb 128 main jet 45 pilot jet
JJH CARB needle clip on top
new malossi red contra spring 2000 RPM
variator weights 27 grams

polini 3 shoe clutch
naraku clutch bell
Windjammer exhaust
polini corsa 72cc
malossi crank
32-1 premix Klotz r-50

Very Impressive. Fastest top speed I've seen on here especially at 72cc. Great build with some awesome tuning info!

8.5s and 85 mph, not sure any one has ever done that regardless of cc. The math is a little fuzzy there. Pretty cool either way. At 86 mph I'm at 12.8k with 6.91 on a full mhr kymco zx50 block and a 120/70-12. At 81 mph I'm at 11.9k.
maybe there's a lot of belt slip I haven't noticed. How's your clutch? I know mine are toast after a few top speed runs.

wow action ah!

couple questions...

what pulley/ramp?
what is crusing temps/rpm at 50mph with that tune?
how much do you weigh?

nice job!
