after 5+ months the rear rims arrived
pre ordered from jiangwayne.com july 24
received front rims sept twenty something
jiangwayne had a problem with rears wrong spline count
that is why it took so long to get rears
when I pre ordered and saved $ 21.00 on each rim 84.00 total
and a break on shipping so it was worth the wait to me

Part numbers front has 12 mm axle
RPM 10"x2.15J Front Wheel (Dio TDM, Black) - 44650-GW0-R02B
RPM 10"x2.15J Rear Wheel (Dio, Black) - 42601-GW0-R02B

was going to use the rims I had but like the looks of the straight spokes better
probably going to sell since i bought 2 sets of the other ones

steering stem 14.75 inch from bottom of race to top
2.0 inch of full thread 2.25 inch counting partial threads

will edit later for thread pitch diameter and bearing race diameter ect

the bottom part of pic is what the stem looks like after you cut the forks off

EDIT 12-26-2014

Dio style with 12mm axel / Ruckus triple tree comparison
so if you use a ruckus triple tree the spacers would need to be 13mm wider on each side
to keep the rim centered
45.5mm 1.791 inch total on speedometer side
25mm .984 inch on other side

dio style with 12mm axel triple tree stock spacers
32.5mm 1.2795 inch total on speedometer side
12mm.472 inch on other side

I would assume the 10mm axel forks have identical spacers

Making a stem?

thinking about making the stem instead of welding 2 together
or
seeing if I can save this one and mount / weld it into a dio or ruckus tree

the tree that came with front I bought didn't like how it was welded
keeping my options open

so if you mill / grind the weld off the bottom of the ruckus tree
and push the stem out
the hold diameter is the same size as the elite stem

so if you can get the weld off the elite stem
push it into the ruckus stem
re weld the bottom (and maybe drill and a plug weld on side)
you would be good to go

graphite9 wrote:Why don't you cut the ruck tree, and weld the elite tree upper to it? Sleeve it, its a cake walk. You don't want to be welding and messing with the attachmen points, unless your really skilled with metal fab.
I was a machinist for 20 years
and have fabricated many things
and want to show different ways to do things

this isn't my first sterring stem project
and i already have a elite welded stem in my possestion
i just want a one piece stem

here is my first fork swap
1984 Kawasaki 750 Turbo
with 2000 Kawasaki zrx 1100 forks and custom stem
Suzuki Hayabusa swingarm with a Kawasaki rim ,r6 handlebars
and many other mods that i performed
which is still in my possession

Greetings:

That ZX 750 Turbo is a true gem.
The boxes for the rims say "For Best Rider Only". Gotta love those Chinese translations. :)
