It took me about 3 hours to read all of this with my kids fighting and falling all over me for attention. Luckily the wife is out of the house, so I can get away with it.

I can't find ANY info on this kit ANYWHERE else on the web. I read somewhere back on the first few pages of this thread that the fabrizi kit will rev over 11k. I didn't see any postings of that here; even with the Fabrizi pipe installed. Since I'm a noob (and don't have a ton of time) I'm beginning to make assumptions. Does the stock crank have such a good reputation because even the only single ring, butterfly port, alu cylinder doesn't rev over 10.5k? Mina cranks are not considered to be good, but they can handle street 10k setups. Are there any pipes for the dio that make power over 10k? Maybe the stock CDI is crap over 10 or 11k?

I have one of these kits on order from REDEFT. It should be here tomorrow. My cases are still in tact, and I don't have much time to dink around, so much like you, my process will be slow.

I'm not impressed with anything I read about any pipe other than the wind jammer, but there is no way on Gods green earth im dumping that cash out for 12k power.

I hit 13.5k all day on corsas and mhrs with a c16 copy by motorio. I have no doubt the fabrizi will be able to do the same. I'm skeptical about the fabrizi pipe though.

Greetings:

Motorio C16? I Googled it, and came up with a solid post by LoveMyKymco. Hmmm.

Anyone you know stocking this 13K pipe? The Fabrizi is nice, quiet, but stated ceiling is 11K. I doubt it'll spin much higher too.

My motorio came from moped hospital many moons ago. I believe it's a tai company that is no longer making the copy.

With some help, im gonna do my best to push the fabrizi kit to a good max. Im hoping to find a pipe that will resonate well up to at least 12k. Since there is NO info on the fabrizi cylinder and pipe for dio on the internet (other than here), ive been emailing back and forth with fabrizi. Only good info so far is that the combo is designed for 10.5k. Ill be port mapping it and porting to make it more suitable for higher rev. Then I hope a magical fairy or something of the sort designs a 12k pipe.
This will be a slow Michigan winter project. Even slower cuz im NOT going to put any parts on a credit card. I just scored a 28mm Keihen PE carb off fleabay for $20. It came off a CR80. WOO!

Moped hospital was the first place I bought parts from. I used to be a moderator on provoscooter back then

They took a yasuni c16 and copied it for the dio. I can lend it to you sometime so you can test it on the dyno if you like to compare the c16 you had modified.

Greetings:

Dusted Flash off for an errand ride today. It's run a little fat since I popped the Polini 26 on there with a 52/128 setup. Graphie predicted 118-125 back in early November. It took almost 3 months, but I swapped in the 125 and a 50 pilot and it keeps getting better. G-Man called it, depending on outcome as the weather warms, might still go 122.

Hi wheelman. That polini carb seems very efficient. I'm liking the numbers. Eventually I will get 1. Not now with 33 inches of snow on the ground. Plus another 18 for monday.

Greetings:

I'm just not sure why the jetting choices are so different with Signori Polini's product compared to OKO's, but it certainly appears to be of high quality.

I just spent a pleasant couple of hours teaching myself to balance the rims. It looked better for Tech Docs, so that's where I posted it.

33+18 INCHES of snow?! You should move across the line to Canada. They have less trouble because they measure in centimetres... Or move someplace more compatible with Scootrage. Or Human Survival. Sheesh! Balmy 70s although overcast here in Deepinnaharta today.

Greetings:

A liberal slathering of oily residue across the outer flank of the Fabrizi pipe's chamber underscored the fact: 52/125 is still WAY rich. Dropped to 50 /122 and Zoom! Houston, we have Lift-Off! Front wheel skims the tarmac on the way to 74.6 MPH @ 11K. Peak Temp still only 374. Fabrizi Rocks!

Thinkin' of re-installing taller 7.57:1 gears?
