parts shouldn't be too bad in cost...(much harder to find a reasonably priced '86 seat ...)

assuming your state does not require title and bill of sale will suffice to register, if not, check what it will take to title as in many states too costly to justify...

I'd take $125 with me and try to get it for less with that many parts missing...

super low mileage...! :thumbwink:

congrats in advance!

ps - do a detailed bill of sale, including checking out his/her ID just in case it comes up stolen when you try to register....

i wouldnt worry about a title or regristration. a bill of sale will be nice to have but in sc you dont need anything. ive had the cops tell me a need to be registered and have a tag and all that jazz but dumb sumter cops have no idea what you need or dont need. and for the moped tags the DMV does not carry moped tags. your supposed to get them from your "certified dealer". in other words you dont need that either and good luck finding one. id get a bill of incase you resale to someone out of state though.

Nice purchase for $100! You could easily double your money by parting it out, but saving an aero is always a better option. Don't forget you will also need the rear rack which hold the taillight.

I haven't checked the vin yet but I believe its a '85 due to it being electric start only. No kickstarter.

Checked for piston movement (compression)
Checked belt. Painted cover black. Removed ignition to have keyed. Fixed blinker mount (front) needs a lense. Cleaned oil tank.

Looking good! Judging by the aero 50 font on the front plastic it's indeed an 85 nb50m, but you can confirm by the vin tag on the frame behind the front wheel. Be careful not to break or lose the black plastic piece Inbetween the rear blinkers. That oem piece is getting harder and harder to find.
