Re: My Malossi Build

High temp coating? I got the MHR from Wheelman but I think he did get it from Keith. And I have a pump plug holder just haven't slapped it on there quite yet. Should have the woodruff key by morning one of the only things holding me back.
On a side note. I was thinking about having my flywheel lightened. Is there a real benefit to it for this type of build? Also anybody here do them? Or have one for sale? Thanks guys!

Had one just like that on my AF05 build used a gold dollar, also used the coin stack pump plug as well it was cool but I later replaced it with a normal plug.

Lightened flywheel is nice. It really helps the engine rev quick. Any good machine shop can do it. The guy who did all of mine has quit doing port and machine work.

Nice I have a few extra so I'll prolly get a couple of them done. Is there a certain amount of weight that should be taken off?

Ok thanks I'll have to take it to the machine shop here and see if they know what it's all about.

I can check mine when I get home so you know how much it to remove. Or what mine is at least.

Looking good! Did you anneal the copper gasket for the exhaust before installing? It's a must do to insure flatness.
That exhaust looks great on there! I like the rpm style kicker too.

Thanks guys! I checked out the gasket with a straight edge and my calipers, and coated it in copper spray to fill and scratches. I want to build a leak down tester just to check everything over too. The pipe does look great! Looks really good on the aero.

I believe it's a kymco 150 rear brake lever I bought it off eBay for super cheap and it just happend to fit. There are NYC ones that look just like it but are $70 bucks. I'm gonna sand it down and polish it out once I get some spare time.
