Ok this is for the people that have purchased the c16. What are your top speeds/results of this pipe so far. I'm at a point it can't go any faster than 69mph and that was with a zx trans and 7.8 gearing mhr bore thought it would help if I lowered it from 8.44 but it didnt. Just wanna see if I can do more cause I'm getting a bit fustrated as of now because of the endless tuning. I guess what I'm getting to is should I continue or this is all its got?

69mph sounds pretty fast. Any faster would take a very good tune in all category's. CVT and carb tuning to the max.

Yeah if I put the s trans I would be in the 75 but I love the torque the zx puts out

Oh yeah its a fully built motor malossi crank, stage 6 reeds, malossi cdi everything you can think of. On my old setup on my scorpion I could do 74@11800 with 8.44 gearing without all these goodies

I'm running a scorp, 82cc fabrizi, ported intake windows, ported cts, ported v force 3, polini 26mm carb, polini big filter, 7.58s, malossi cdi, race coil, b9hs, polini for ruck, malossi zx belt, ncy rear pulley set to fast action, polini 3g, malossi wing bell, maloss yellow torque, 90/90-10 on a 98 elite and hit a wall around 68. I'm sure more tuning to the trans and I'll get to the 74mph the prior owner was hitting but even down hill it's all she was wanting.
I love the sound when you crack the throttle open and it burbles for a seconds then shoots off. I raced a loud honda civic and won. It has street cred.

It's funny cause even on a downhill it just flattens always at 69. One day I spent 4 hours tunning and the results were the same only deference was lower or higher max rpms. Also tried various pulleys polini, malossi, keli,Daytona with no luck but I did notice the polini gave the best acceleration and midrange of the three. Gonna try one more thing tomorrow and it will be my final day with this and I'll leave it at that and continue to my next build

No max speed here. Sounds like your just flat out running out of gearing. Pop taller gears in there. Its still strange to me to go for a top speed scooter. I took the day off. Ill throw my Garmin on today and gps my scoot. Its not tuned for high speed, and im not going to change anything, so we will see.

What max rpm are you guys getting?

Last day and the results were 71mph moving onto the next build
Wasn't worth dropping from 8.4 to 7.8 for an extra 2mph with lower rpms

Ended with a 112 main any lower would lower my speeds to 70's Temps actually stayed cool only backing off the throttle at wot would raise my temps so I brought the needle up to help cool of the 1/4-3/4.
