GY6 Kick Starter Fit '85 Spree?

I just picked up an '85 Spree a couple days ago. Lots to do on it. One issue is the kick start half-moon gear is missing several teeth, and it needs to be replaced. I was looking for parts for the af05e engine, and the only aftermarket options that come up are for GY6. Does anyone know if these will fit or maybe you can recommend aftermarket parts?
