aero engine into spree??
I was wondering what needs to be done in order to get an aero engine into a spree? I have the chance to buy one, and i have an extra spree frame that i just took the stock engine out of.
Re: aero engine into spree??
two things- well at least one!
an engine mount and moving the shock mount back.
as far as the wiring goes it is a simple process .
none of this is"hard" but you either must possess welding skills and have a welder at your disposal for several hours- like ALL day!or-
be prepared to pay someone for their day spent doing the work for you or-
a good friend who will do the work for you.
it is not a "bolt-on" deal....
it is a cut and grind and measure ans weld and cut and grind metal mind bending operation.but fun and rewarding.

Well i do have OK welding skills. Some welds come out with a resemblance to bubble gum, but ive never had one break. So, i would need the engine mount for the aero as well? are there drop in gears for the aero?
