if it helps mine does not have a kickstart, and i opened up the tranny and took the first variator with the wieghts off and saw no mythical restrictor plate, so any mods i can do while its apart? maybe lighten the weights with a dremel?

Lightening the rollers with a dremel is a bad idea unless you can get them perfectly round and all the same weight. You do not have restrictor plates or washers.

put the tranny back together just cleaned up some of the belt dust, i drilled out the main jet not sure what size but less than a #90, then i cleaned up the welds in the exhaust, seems to run fine but i havent rode it yet its raining like *, so are there any other BIG mods for the aero besides the jet
