My 89 Elite-e has 2.50 /10 tires on it now , can I run a 3.0 /10 without causing any problems?

Re: Tire size ?
Greetings:
There aren't too many E owners, even here. I've never even seen one, but the Spree has clearance issued with 3.00s. A safer bet might be 2.75s.

Re: Tire size ?
You can run bigger tires if you remove the center-stand. A hand-grinder with a coarse blade can cut out enough on the right side of the center-stand to clear the tire, but the center-stand is now weaker. Some time with an arc-welder will stiffen up the center-stand enough that it won't be a problem.Wheelman-111 wrote: I've never even seen one, but the Spree has clearance issued with 3.00s.
