What battery does a 87 Honda Spree use? I think I need a new battery.

I am aware that the Yuasa came stock but everyone has a walmart right around the corner with a 1 yr product replacement

I use the Walmart battery also - my Walmart carries EverStart - the number on the box is ES4LBS. I've got one in my Spree, both my Aero 50's and my SE50. Had em for a couple of years now with no complaints. They are priced different at different stores but typically around $33.00 if you have an old one to swap - a few dollars more without a swap.

Also, I've swapped all sorts - even 6v, (they don't really check).

Yuasa is probably a better quality but hard to beat the convenience of Wally-world.
