how many fl ounces of 10w30 motor oil do you put in the gear case after draining on a honda elite 50...i have heard 1 ounce and also 3 ounces?...Thanks

With scooter off the stand on level ground just add till it's full.

10w-40 and 3 ounces to be specific. That's if you're talking about an 88-01 elite.

Manual says 10w-40 so that's what i use. I don't want to be the one to tell you you're ok using 10w-30
